#BikeSafeLee is an initiative to create a safer way for vehicles, bikers, and pedestrians to travel along Lee Street in the historic West End. The creation of the new bike lane, and covering the lane with art, was sparked years ago between representatives from both City of Atlanta Department of Transportation and MARTA. alongside fellow muralist Charity Hamidullah and ARTZYBELLA we curated this project with the help of 150+ volunteers to paint 130 cement barricades to create a safe bike lane in the west end.
